of 2010 has kept me on my toes. Well, money being on top of the motivation list, I cant just stay away from work, can I!?! I wish I hit those six bloody lucky numbers and go on world trip for rest of my life. I know, it sounds like a figment of imagination.
Of late I got my temperory residency(hurreyyy!!!),a so called promotion as 3IC manager in disguise with a salary hike of 0.31$/hr. Now that is against racism and or discrimination. And yeah, I love this place and people here are not what they are as projected in desi media. I can hear you swearing at me under your breath but I can only say so much for now.
I will be back on this issue shortly, only to prove that we desi's are more racists.!
And also, as am a big time F1 fan, this years lineup is more promising than ever and am looking forward to see FORCE INDIA(& deepika padukone in red saree) on podium.
PS: Jai ho maa tujhe salaam onde maataram etc....
school memories...
Its already been a year since our reunion and I cut start (inaguration, I meant) the lines by saying "that day you kill the child in you, you are dead!"....
The one's I remember most vividly, the one's I enjoyed the most, regardless of anyone else's enjoyment or lack of it, one's that stood out from every other routine day for whatever reason... they aren't necessarily in cronological order, I've just written them down as they occur to me...
These moments captured reminds me every now & then, that.... am as young as I was then, As young as my faith but only as old as your doubt!; my reminiscent of school days contrasts with today's...

Remembering my childhood, a favourite thought;
Those are where most of my memories are.
Friendship is all what we sought,
KHO-KHO n KABADDI for fun;
Science,Social,Maths were all what we were thought,
Languages n Poems for pun;
Now that we grew up, its all done;
I wish it did not have to end,
I just want to do it all over again!
These moments captured reminds me every now & then, that.... am as young as I was then, As young as my faith but only as old as your doubt!; my reminiscent of school days contrasts with today's...
I dont draw or paint on papers anymore!
I dont act or sing on stages anymore!
Because for I believe that, old skills never die;
I just have to dust the cobwebs off once & a while.
With my thinking hat on I realised that, In my youth the days were short and the years were long. But, its vice versa now: Years short and days long! Adding to the fact is that years teach much which the days never knew. As I write this down, I am getting late for school... so I better get going..
Shirt tucked in, tie straight;
Shoes polished & socks white.
A quick prayer hiding from peetla's sight!
stand to attention and lead off from right....
city RiDe my PridE
I wish I had all of bangalore to the original bangloreans (just friendly faces and familiar places all around) hope that one day all the outsiders will go back !! we've been good to them enough, only to get bitched! Though am neither an infosian nor a wiproer, I like it when some say..."neev software navarella bandu bangalore na haal madbittidira". I love my city for it being my home and also for its dimensions, dynamics, driveways, dareness, dtc.
I remember, we guys use to drive as far as coffee day(mysore road) for half a day and still miss bangalore! Guys use to call n say "its boaring maga, sigona" and we knew exactly where to go. I still get those weired yelling in my dreams when once I almost got hit by an auto while crossing the road and the driver goes "maneli helbittu bandidya!?!"
The best of all is when you get into a brawl in public and about 36 strangers gather around in a flash! atleast to watch, if not to help!
I badly miss the fun of the 3wheeler ride and gone are those days when I could tell the drivers rightuuuu leftuuuu and straightu and they knew the route, except once I told the guy to go straightuuu and yelled at him when he turned right instead...
....and he turns around and nods his head at me and tells me I should learn how to speak clearly because back then my "rightuuu" & st"rightuuu" sounded the same!
And oh..! the ultimate was when we guys use to hang out of BMTC on just one foot & still people said "swalpa adjust maadi please"...just to squeez a part of body in and the rest was taken care of for the remaining 23kms..!
PS: But still this is my Bengaluru my hemme (read as my city my pride).

As U C it..
As (yo)U C(hange) it...
For what? U say I am being modest!
I say: no ambiguity please, am being honest.
For what? U tag me under the label hypocrisy!
Between us,I doubt the amity;
I was portraying my sincerity.
For what? U point me as racist!
I pray that U get bullied by terrorist...
