1st few days..
Of late I got my temperory residency(hurreyyy!!!),a so called promotion as 3IC manager in disguise with a salary hike of 0.31$/hr. Now that is against racism and or discrimination. And yeah, I love this place and people here are not what they are as projected in desi media. I can hear you swearing at me under your breath but I can only say so much for now.
I will be back on this issue shortly, only to prove that we desi's are more racists.!
And also, as am a big time F1 fan, this years lineup is more promising than ever and am looking forward to see FORCE INDIA(& deepika padukone in red saree) on podium.
PS: Jai ho maa tujhe salaam onde maataram etc....
city RiDe my PridE
I remember, we guys use to drive as far as coffee day(mysore road) for half a day and still miss bangalore! Guys use to call n say "its boaring maga, sigona" and we knew exactly where to go. I still get those weired yelling in my dreams when once I almost got hit by an auto while crossing the road and the driver goes "maneli helbittu bandidya!?!"
The best of all is when you get into a brawl in public and about 36 strangers gather around in a flash! atleast to watch, if not to help!
I badly miss the fun of the 3wheeler ride and gone are those days when I could tell the drivers rightuuuu leftuuuu and straightu and they knew the route, except once I told the guy to go straightuuu and yelled at him when he turned right instead...
....and he turns around and nods his head at me and tells me I should learn how to speak clearly because back then my "rightuuu" & st"rightuuu" sounded the same!
And oh..! the ultimate was when we guys use to hang out of BMTC on just one foot & still people said "swalpa adjust maadi please"...just to squeez a part of body in and the rest was taken care of for the remaining 23kms..!
PS: But still this is my Bengaluru my hemme (read as my city my pride).
As U C it..
For what? U say I am being modest!
I say: no ambiguity please, am being honest.
For what? U tag me under the label hypocrisy!
Between us,I doubt the amity;
I was portraying my sincerity.
For what? U point me as racist!
I pray that U get bullied by terrorist...
GUNYA bros.!

I was on G-chat with my friend back in bangalore(at work but still.!)this afternoon. After discussing few things our conversation introduced me to brothers of chikungunya. Yes, you read it right. Actually, this is how it went...
me: so, wuts happening in b'lore?
frn: oh..U knw wut, therz few new virus seeking hosts in & around b'lore this year..
me: oh ya I read about H1N1 & CHIKUNGUNYA r spreading, faster than BMTC & its routes.!
frn: ssss..also, adding to traffic are TOMATOGUNYA & MUTTONGUNYA lately
me: wut.!?! sounds lik they r brothers of another mother..
and it continued..I could'nt control myself from rolling over the floor(carpetted ofcourse). I then googled for GUNYA bros only to know that they are latest in the list of rumours doing rounds in the city, much efficient than BCP constables...
hAiLed but faiLeD

finally I gave my driving test today in the morning which, exclusively was awesome with no dramas but traumas only later for both me & examiner.! I still get to drive with my desi license however, the lady in blue was cool who caused my valiant attempt to fail and now am considering to give it a second go...
Drunk wit thoughts

Its sort of hangover on one side but contemplation on the other. I am not complaining. Sadly, am being shaped thanks to a binge on confronting thoughts. Not just thoughts, but random thoughts and too many of them. I get my senses back on reading pass “success is not final, failure is not fatal but its the courage to continue that counts” and suddenly my mind gets cornered in silence on coming across life instructions: have fun; do not hurt people; do not accept defeat; strive to be happy.. god what next..!?! I just whisper 'yes I can' unlike senator Obama.
Then, I start feeling jingoistic on watching “S**M D*G Millionaire”, not because it swept OSCARS but because the way it projects my motherland. Now, to get out of this trauma I move on to listen this song that am obsessed with lately. Following this, I start thinking what keeps me actively lazy and I am bestowed by poseidon to transform my feelings into musical notes. Then, I get advice on sharing the regret with yet another thought; even before understanding the last, I get told “great works are performed, not by strength, but by perseverance” my mate.! nOw I am forced to an agile conclusion that, 3 W’s (weather, women & wine) are highly unpredictable..! and I need to get this copyrighted under my name. Oops..! am done with a bottle of white excuse me till I get a bottle of red…
PS: Am not drunk, the thoughts are.!
Feb 14 Special
Finally, I would like to add few words about the most expected form the date above… for my male friends & foes in love, sweating with gift-O-phobia.! I say, she may forget what you present or said, but will never forget how you made her feel while delivering them. Love as if everyday is valentines day.! (gets costly, i know) Good luck :)
Filmy friday
66th & Unnoticed.!
Its my friend’s birthday today the 9th August and we staying together here, on a foreign land, 6374.5kms away from home, has never made us forget to wish him as soon as the clock struck 12. Well, its not his 66th by the way.
If we can recall high school history then probably its not enough to get the idea what I am talking about. It was on this day 66 years ago people of India launched their final struggle for Independence. Mr. M.K Gandhi’s inspiring words spoken on this day kept up to its expectations which goes like this… “Here is a mantra I give you. You may imprint it on your hearts and let every breath of yours give expression to it. Do or Die. We shall either free India or die in the attempt; we shall not live to see the perpetuation of our slavery.”
Today, we are left with no more interest or patience to remember moments of national glory or sorrow. The mood is to get on with life, get ahead in the struggle for survival & success. The reason being today’s politics which is so vile & banal which has made it difficult for us to imagine that there was a time when our nation’s air was charged with commitment, heroism & sacrifice. Now, where is the pride of being an INDIAN…!?!
PS: Mera Bharath Mahaan, Bolo Bharath Mataa ki...jai.
Sauver la 'e'
Dont get worried with the title as I am a bit french freak! as the saying "Kannadigarellaru Anya Bhaasha Priyaru", n so am I. Well it also kinda drapes the title! which actually means Save the 'e-Electrons'.
Coming to the point, everyone is talking about Global Warming these days. "Save The Environment" is everywhere - recycle water, recycle paper even recycle movie storylines! [will write about tat shortly]. While most are talking about "saving the planet"[might be a movie title], I am indeed very much concerned about saving the most important resource in the universe: The Electrons!
How? let me explain: Electrons do most of transporting these days. They travel over our phone wires and over our LAN cables and our TV Cable lines, delivering all the good stuff for our entertainment. But have you spared a thought for the poor electrons that do all the work? I have. And do you know what happens to them once they have delivered your email to your computer?
Obvious answer is tat they come to our phone/computer/TV and then get wasted! that's right - there are only a limited number of electrons on earth, and everytime you watch TV, you are consuming this precious resource of mother earth. These electrons just hang around your Phone/TV/Computer for a while and then just die!
All this is causing a massive electron shortage in this world. Have you wondered why all the TV serials and Movies are so crappy these days? That's because there aren't enough electrons left in this world these days to make good TV serials and movies. The Directors have to work with a limited number of electrons and the quality suffers.
We need to take the electron shortage seriously. Some reports say that we may run out of electrons as early as 2025! This is a complete disaster scenario. Without electrons, there is no TV, no Internet and no Phones! You have to do your part to conserve electrons! [I hav already started wit it]
You can start by recycling electrons - You can do this by forwarding this article to all your friends. When you send emails, you are recycling the electrons that came to your computer and sending them back to the internet, which is really a series of tubes for electrons to flow. Also, leave comments on all blogs, especially this one. This way, you can return some of the electrons back to the blogs where they originally came from.Try to reduce your electron usage. Instead of watching Saas-Bahu serials on TV, watch cartoons. Cartoons take 75% less electrons than other serials. The 'e' is often ignored but very precious resource of our planet.
Conclusion: It is our responsibility and duty to use electrons precisely. Together, we can save the planet from our selfish over-consumption of the electrons. Together, we can SAVE THE ELECTRONS FROM EXTINCTION!
